“As a professional footballer for some years I have suffered – as is a common condition with many other players , from niggling hamstring pulls and tears. This occurs especially during the pre-season and with periodic massages I had found this alleviated the problem but not eradicated the precise cause.”

“On the advice of a friend, I made an appointment to see Mike (Sterling). After two sessions my problem was cured by both, treatment and a prescription of rehab exercise. He explained that fascia build-ups and when we hold tension to protect or assist with nerve transmission to a particular area, footballers tend to hold that tension in the abdomen (i.e. the psoas). This means that this muscle dominates the glutes and consequently, the lower back and the hamstrings have to work unnecessarily harder.”

“Mike has devised a series of techniques that address this very specific problem. His expertise, knowledge and hands-on-technique need greater exposure and I cannot thank him enough. I now feel sharper and more relaxed both pre and post competition. Many thanks Mike.”
